PLUGIN IDEA: Separate Theme for Mobile Devices?

So is this a thing a Plugin could do? What I mean by "Separate Theme for Mobile Devices" is this:

• Logging into the site via a normal Web Browser does one theme
• Logging into the site via a Mobile Device brings up another Theme with different size settings and such

The reason I ask this, is that I'm creating a forum for RPing, but to make the banner work, it's permanently set at 1497px wide... That DOESN'T work on Mobile... So... if this isn't a plugin idea, what can I do?

First off, nice of you to be keeping your mobile audience in mind!

What you're referring to is actually known as responsive web design, and if you don't mind waiting, you're in luck, because the upcoming v6 has been announced to support RWD (source)!

Interesting! I've signed up for their mailing list and am eagerly awaiting the ability to create a second theme for mobile devices! Also, thanks Falkyrin for that information.
