I'm very new to using Macromedia Flash, but I have successfully been able to create one nice banner for someone which features their logo with a moving clouds background. So much nicer than making it as an animated GIF. Anyway, I've been trying to create another one, only this one has two separate animations in it. One is moving clouds like the first but then the other part is having a logo look like it's flying in the distance from the top of the image down to about the center then coming towards the viewer, getting bigger as it goes. That is where I run into my problem.
I can do the straight lines, even curvy lines but I can not, for the life of me, figure out how to make the logo look like it's moving toward me, going from small to full size. So my question is, does anyone know how to do that or know of a website that would help me learn how to do it?
Yesterday I spent some time searching the net for help and although I found a site that had examples of the EXACT animation I was trying to accomplish, it was on a page that talked about frames per second and not how to make the animation itself. Needless to say, that irritated me. LOL
So yeah, anyone have any suggestions?

Can't remember specifics as I haven't used Flash in many years. The simplest solution is to do scale (and maybe position) tweening.
- Scale down the object to the starting size - Select starting frame (i.e frame 1) - Insert key frame - Select ending frame (i.e frame 20) - Scale up the object to the ending size - insert key frame - Apply the tween between the start and end frame
Edit: When modifying the object, Flash may insert the key frame automatically, I can't remember. But the basic effect of what you are after can be accomplished via scaling.
If still confused, try searching on YouTube for some like "scale tween", should be something out there to get you started.
Just a small note; Flash is being phased out in the browsers, even Adobe support this, hence why they renamed their product and now support Canvas and WebGL.

Peter, Thank you so much for the instructions (I'll give it a try) and for the heads up about Flash being phased out.
