Alphabetical Thread Sorting

I'd like to put forth a request for a plugin that gives threads within a given board the option to be sorted alphabetically. Right now, the only way I've found to do it is by making use of the sticky and bump system for when you want to sort things a certain way, which is horrifically inconvenient if it's the sort of archive you keep adding to.

Unless this function already exists, and I'm just a blind fool for asking after it...

This would only be possible on the page you're currently viewing. If there's more than one page of threads in a board the plugin has no way to obtain those until you've navigated to that page (or else the forum software would already offer that functionality without the use of a plugin).

Ah, that's a shame. So, while technically possible, it's not really practical. Thank you for your response, I appreciate the answer. Even if it doesn't seem like there's much that can be done, understanding makes it easier to deal with.
