I'm not sure if i'm missing something or there's a plugin already for this, but i'v noticed i can't determine the difference between a new thread and a reply on recent posts (going back to double check) no i'm pretty i can't or i'm missing something.
Is there something i can use for this ? or can i request a plugin pls

bump, i'll pay for this coder people pls i got a few sites i'll put it on which will be very usefull, like i say i'm not sure if it already exists in someway .... i was thinking the RE: i'v seen on old forums in the titles saying it's a reply, but the opposite way saying "new thread" on new threads or a nice img. Can this be done ? 100 million dollars take it or leave it !

@joecool111 Don't understand the confusion here. If its a thread, that would URL in your browser would end in /threads/recent and if its a post the URL would be /posts/recent.
Other words if you look at all the recent posts page, what do you see in the URL?

Wow, so apparently you can do this through the layout templates! Is this on goldenbeatz? I wanna take a look see at your templates because they're might be modifications on your post list template.

I wanna take a look see at your templates because they're might be modifications on your post list template. post list template, for some reason i got some red tags, but someone said "if it ain't broke don't fix it" so i left them to not break anything it's on goldenbeatz {foreach $[post]}

This is on goldenbeatz right? I was just gonna make a copy of your theme so I could test on my forum. Also, I added spoiler tags to your post above.

Done. I went ahead and fixed all of the red tag errors as well (driving me crazy). Copy paste this in your post list template: Also, space the HTML out once you pasted in with CTRL + A then SHIFT + TAB so that you can read the HTML better.

@joecool111 You're welcome oreo king. Yeah, I did, technically. But it is needed to differentiate if you are viewing the recent posts page and also if that post is a thread or not. The post list template is used many in other places as well. Like when you are viewing a thread, the post list template is used. Also, when you are viewing recent posts, coincidentally. If you look over certain parts of the code (like the if statements) differentiate which post list template to use based on what a user is seeing. Can this be done ? 100 million dollars take it or leave it ! Also, I'll take it. Since I already have your soul.
