How to remove "Actions" and "Select" drop down menus?

I find these features to be useless and cluttery for the purpose of my forum. 
I don't mind the search feature because that could be useful I suppose.

But how do I remove these features? Does anybody know where in the style sheet I should be able to find this?

Hi, seaturtle.

The Select and Actions dropdowns are produced by the $[selection_menu] and $[action_menu] variables found in Themes > Layout Templates > Board and Themes > Layout Templates > Thread.

Keep in mind that if you remove these dropdowns you'll be completely unable to use several functions on your forum such as the ability to lock, sticky, bump, move, and bookmark threads.

Ah I didn't notice these features like lock, sticky, bump etc, I was using a regular account while assessing how my forum can be improved. Derp. 

After doing a bit of rummaging around, I decided I will remove the Share with Reddit / Myspace / Email features using this plugin: support.proboards.com/post/5266060/thread

But also, I want to remove the "Go to Previous / Next thread" option too? Is there a way to do this via the Style Sheet?

Each of the menu options has a class associated with it, so you should be able to remove them using CSS. Adding this to your style sheet will remove the Go to option.

.ui-menu.actions .view {
    display: none !important;
}

No plugin is necessary to remove the sharing options. You can turn each of those off in Settings > Forum Settings > Social Media.
