Plugin Request

It would be very useful if there was a plugin that allows you to restrict what guests can do (disable thread creation from guests, etc)

This is already built into the forum.

Navigate to Structure > Categories & Boards. Move your mouse over any of your boards and click on the icon that appears next to them to edit their settings. Go to the Permissions tab.

In this tab you can choose who can view the board (see it on the list), who can access the board (see the threads in the board), and who can create new posts/threads/polls in the board. Setting these permissions to anything other than Everyone will restrict guests from having that permission.
