Need help redoing my forum

This is not the appropriate place for this. This is for discussion about design in general, not for help with your forum privately.

If you need help, I would post in the advert board in the thread for design assistance, or if you need help with your theme specifically in theme requests. You can also put a small not in your signature asking for help so that when you post people can see it.

Also, I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt that this was unintentional, but framing your request as "I'm going to need someone to do this" does not sound like you are asking for help but rather demanding it -- if I were interested in helping, this would be very off puttting. Remember we are volunteers here, and you are not obligated to our time; speak and behave accordingly.

I'm sorry I just been so stressed out and last time I posted what do i do, it was locked and I was told that's against the rules but I will try to explain why i need help so badly.

The problem: I made a post on a other forums asking if they wanted me to make a forum (i wanted to know if people were interested) so I did poll asking people and when enough people voted I decided to make one, 5 days of work later a friend said someone made a Forum and to was a mybb one and I had to add to Google Search before I was complete, one of my moderators did something not very smart and asked him to join us instead, then I had to apologize to the Forum owner and when we talked I learned he say my post and poll an asked me to be a moderator there instead but I said no, as the games Facebook released pics of the upcoming game we made a Facebook Group soon after i started seeing him on Facebook post join his Forum in the comments on the games page, so I started posting my forum as well but it wasn't working so I posted my group instead and that worked, now the game has released and the group is almost 400 members on Facebook but people are already starting to recommend the other forums vs my forum so on Facebook Messenger I asked what's wrong with my forum vs the other guys forum? And they looked at both and said it's not as good looking as the other forums and the layout is not as good, so how i didn't know what to do, I tried my best to to make a amazing forum but by best isn't good enough. 

I don't have the skill to do it better and the other guy does because when we were talking he said he was a PC web designer.

I hope someone could help me but I guess not, I was hoping V6 would release's and save me but I have given up on that

V6 won't really change anything for your situation. If you don't have the skill to work with the theme right now, v6 will not change that.

I am sorry you are going through this, but the most appropriate way to let people know of your request to receive the help you need is in any of the methods I mentioned above.

Volunteers are more than happy to help you, but they are just that: volunteers. They cannot fill every request that appears and some may lack the skill leve you are looking for. While I can appreciate the hardship this causes for you, posting in unrelated areas and begging for help will not increase the chances of you receiving it.

And I have to say, as gently as I possibly can convey through text, that if they have a professional designer on the competing forum you may be out of luck. There are professional designers here on support, myself included, but we do not work for free. If they have a professional willing to work for them and you do not, you will likely have to come up with the funds to hire one if you wish to compete.

I did this for the fun of the Forum to injoy it but unfortunately i picked this Forum out to make a free forum as I don't have a lot of money to spend, I will try to rework it myself again.

Remember that you don't have to figure everything out on your own. The graphics request board is available, as is the theme request board. You can also get help in the templates board for any other modifications of the default forum layout.

I appreciate you do not have the funds to hire someone, definitely. I am just pointing out that if they do have a professional working on the other forum, it will be difficult to compete without a professional on your side too. It's definitely worth a try if you love what you do, and volunteers will be more than happy to help you when they are able.
