Some of you may have seen (or even visited) my Warhammer 40,000 forum. However, as of Saturday (December 3rd) I got my first member (confetti!). However, its rather hard to have a large forum experience with one guy. How can I attract more people to my forum and get them to stay? Any thoughts, comments, suggestions?

Hey wh40kforum, I removed the link to your forum as members can address your question without seeing your forum and it is considered advertising which against the rules in this board. Since you have a thread you made in GOAYB, that should take care of any needed advice on the aesthetics and content of your site.

However, its rather hard to have a large forum experience with one guy. How can I attract more people to my forum and get them to stay? Any thoughts, comments, suggestions? promote your forum elsewhere too not just on this support one it does not do much at all besides that think about SEO so google and others pick you up post and make content, do not sit and wait around for posts to come falling out of the sky (not sure if you do as i have not looked on your forum) people won't find a forum interesting if it looks empty and make sure you got all the basics covered a lot of people and i honestly don't know why, they open up a forum and start promoting it right away even though they have not even finished yet with setting it up fully people don't understand that can come across as messy and like you don't know what you are doing, which can evolve into a situation where not many are joining your forum, if any at all i took my time but it took me a long time too before everything was set up on mine but i knew i had to finish everything first before doing anything else, trying to get members because what is the point to promote something thats not done yet and looks like a mess? (not talking about your forum, talking in general)
