Viglink: Do you use it?

Proboards has an option to use the Viglink ad software which you can turn on through the Admin panel. I believe the way it works is that the software will attach links to relevant words like "Nike" and if people click on the affiliate link, you will receive some amount of money. I don't know how much.

I'm interested in turning this feature on because it could help promote my site, but I am also aware no one likes ads, people do have adblockers (I am one of these folks), and rarely anyone actually clicks these links, much less purchases the stuff in them. 

I don't want to bug the few members I have or even some guests, but like I said - it could really help my site. 

Have any of you used it? Pros, cons?

I've used it, but I find it pretty pointless for what I need. The sites I run don't particularly require ad revenue so it just winds up being unnecessary.

Haven't used it. Don't think I ever will.

I've been on sites that have used it, and it's kind of frustrating when you hover over the link accidentally so you can't see a thing. Obnoxious tool, I think.
