Ah yes i have fixed the script problem and it seems to be working now with the regular reply function but not with quick reply. But that's ok i can live with that. Thanks for your help.

The last edition of this plugin didn't work with quick reply.  Says version 2 fixes that if you start a new thread.

I've installed the 0.0.2 version now, cleared all data from the first version.

Still not working on my test forum, I guess it has to do with the script problem, as I didn't done that yet.
Where do I need to add that fix code?

That script problem was unrelated to the plugin and was added manually by the user to his forum. It would be impossible for that particular script to be the problem you are having. If you need help diagnosing any problems I ask that you share your forum url via here or pm

Hey guys!

So I've been looking for this plugin for days now, so glad I finally found it. I just installed it though, and when I go back to edit my post this is what shows up haha! In both preview and BBCode modes it's just impossible to get back the original content that was there, and on my forum the content we're going to hide is going to be long texts, attachments, etc., so it would be very inconvenient to have to rewrite everything...

This is my testing forum, so I'm just posting test threads. Never mind the titles haha.





Also, it still doesn't work with quick replies :/

It should work with quick replies.. Are you highlighting the content you want hidden before you click the 'HIDE' button?

Also, this plugin will not hide attachments as they are added to the post from the server. It will hide images etc., so long as they are posted from the Preview side of the editor, though I can probably make that work in the BBCode side too.

This version should allow you to edit hidden content...

Ehm.. I just used it and edited my new thread (that I created after installing the newer version of the plugin), and same happened except now, according to Google Translate, it's Hindi? I mean.. It's pretty! But still having the same issue   




As for the quick replies, when a member replies via the normal reply function the content appears but if a member replies via quick reply the content stays hidden (sorry if this is confusing...) I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong

Try downloading the plugin again.. It should be version 0.0.31, and it should now let you edit the first post of the thread too.

As for the quick reply not registering if a member has posted or not.. Could you please leave a link to your forum so I can take a look please.

Yes it was! But it was created after I updated the plugin, I don't know if it makes any difference.. 

Here's a thread where I posted a hidden link on my test forum, the two replies were quick replies and the content remained hidden.

Anne & adm1n0.. This may seem like a silly question, but have you set the key permissions correctly?

Be aware that guests cannot view the hidden content at all, and only the members that have replied in that thread will see the hidden messages. Other members will not until they, too, have replied.

Assuming it is still playing up, adm1n0, could you please post a link to a guest friendly thread so I can take a look, and Anne, could I register to your forum to do a little experimenting.

Anne & adm1n0 , disregard my previous post. The QR did work, but only if you had Chris 's UBBC plugin. That has now been fixed.

Can you please try version 0.0.4 and let me know how you go.
