the tags are hiding the content. How are the tags supposed to be removed to show the content?

I also think Todge did something like this for spoilers?

Would I be correct in saying that the content wasn't hidden by tags then - it was JS code hiding it until a condition was met?

There were no tags involved in the link plugins. Todge did something clever that worked on mobile view as well, if I remember correctly.

It´s so long ago I don´t really know the ins and outs of it. A look through the library would probably bring up the required code or something similar.

It was the 'Whisper' plugin, and all I did was set the text size to '0' at the time of posting. As the mobile app still read the text sizes in a post, a size of 0 is essentially invisible, so it isn't displayed.

And yes, a plugin like this is possible. It may even be possible to edit the Whisper plugin to function like this, but I'll have to look closer at it first.

With Christmas around the corner I am very busy at the weekends right now, which is when I do the bulk of my coding, so it may not be for a couple of weeks or so, but I'll take a look at this if you have the time to wait.

Feel free to nudge me as a reminder though.
