Customizing spoilers...

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this request, so if it's not, I'd appreciate a Moderator moving it.

I'm guessing this could go in the Global Footer:

What I am looking for is a code snippet that can cause Spoilers to be able to be custom titled in each individual post, by that posts's creator.

Right now,  when a spoiler is used it simply says "Spoiler   Click to show this spoiler.".

What the code would do is remove that text, and replace it with whatever the member posting wants it to say

On the board I'm planning to move from the poster can simply type [ spoiler=whatever text they want ] (no spaces) as the opening BBC tag, and teh spoiler comes out saying whatever text they want

I'm pretty sure this could be accomplished with a footer code, but then I know only enough about coding to be dangerous, so I'll leave it to the experts!

ETA: may have spoken too soon. There's an issue with it that may or may not make that one usable for me. Looking on the support thread to see if it's addressed or not now (may take a while though... 21 pages is a long support thread!)

Problem solved on the plugin's help thread.

Turns out it was some bad code on another plugin, that was lower on the list. rearranging the order solved the issue.


Chris came up with the solution:

if you disable the colorsmear plugin does the problem persist in the spoiler plugin? From what I can see, they both employ a function named `getEditor` but the one in the colorsmear plugin is much older and doesn't appear to work anymore. Since both plugins use it in the global space then one will overwrite the other and the last in the list will be king. Most likely, swapping the position of them in the "manage" list could kill two birds with one stone by making the newer (spoiler) function available for both plugins.
