Hey, guys I have an AdSense account, and am considering an AdWords account as well, but when seeking verification from AdSense it came back with a failed request. The code is correct (I think), but I wasn't sure if I had to purchase the Ad-Free function before being able to integrate Google AdWords & AdSense. Also, are Meta Tags in my source code actually effective? And if so, which section should I put them in? As of right now, they're nested right below </head>. Thanks in advance!! EDIT: I forgot to mention -- I'm using my own nameservers through GoDaddy (wasn't sure if that made a difference or not).

What meta tags are you trying to add to your forum ?
If you are trying to embed your own google Tracking ID into your forum wrapper, that won't work. Google will complain about multiple tags and tell you, you will need to configure your settings.
Proboards will take care of the configuration settings if you go to your forum admin panel
/admin/marketing/analytics/google
and apply your "custom" tracking code that way by following the instructions.
I cannot remember the embed code adsense uses, maybe post the code here so I can take a look ?
Also If you are using "chrome", download the "google tag assistant" extension. That will inform you of any errors.
You can then confirm if your tracking code is working by typing the following into your Debug console(F12)
proboards.googleAnalytics.settings

Thanks for your help!
I'm using several simple Meta Tags to assist in SEO, and after [your awesome suggestion of] downloading Tags Manager, I can see that all of them are good to go (with the exception of the one you'd just mentioned.
Thanks for all of your help, man. I really appreciate it!
