Sidebar coding help

So I got some help in creating this basic sidebar and I needed help with a couple of things that I wanted to do that I can't figure out on my own.
1. I wanted to see if the whole sidebar can be scrollable separate from the boards. I saw something like that on this site and I wanted something like it to have it scroll independently for those who have smaller screens or for tabs with more information on them.
2. I also wanted to see if there was a way to have the staff members name slide in over their picture on mouseover, or have it lower the opacity of the picture and show the name.

Tiffamu It looks like you didn't add the JS attached for the scrollable sidebar. It's in the far right pane commented by "scrollable sidebar", just follow my directions for adding the first script: codepen.io/ebbymac/pen/ygQmBz

Oh thanks I didn't see that part last time. Do I have to do any editing to it, or is there more than just the js? I added it with the rest of the js and it doesn't seem to be working.

Oh I got it figured out now. I changed some things that I didn't want to completely redo by copying and pasting everything so I had to find the differences. Thank you so much elli! My sidebar is perfect now!
