Changing a specific container column color?

Hey! I want to know if it's possible to change a specific container columns background color. 

For instance, on the main page, changing the background of Boards and Posts.

And on board pages change the background color of the new post icons, created by, and views boxes.

Hi, NICK MEECE .

This is possible if you add CSS to Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS > Style Sheet.

The Board column can be targeted with:

.boards .list td.main {
    background-color: #000000;
}

The Posts column can be targeted with:

.boards .list td.posts {
    background-color: #000000;
}

The "new" icon next to threads is controlled in Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS by changing the options in Body (Content) > New Icons.


The Created By column can be targeted with:

.threads .list td.created-by {
    background-color: #000000;
}

The Views column can be targeted with:

.threads .list td.views {
    background-color: #000000;
}

Also, as far as the new icons, I meant just the box next to the thread title. How do I change that bg?

Did you work this out yet? If you mean the box that holds the icon, that would be:


.container.threads table.list td.icon{background-color:#ff00ff;}

If you mean the little check box that is directly beside the thread title,  that would be css for "input" but I haven't worked out how to change that.
