highlight and buttons not changing???

Im using the theme LAND and i cant get the buttons on the navigation menu or the highlight color to change!!! help!!! D:

The support thread for that particular theme is located at smangii.proboards.com/thread/41291 and the makers of the theme would be the best ones to approach if you are having a problem with the theme. If however you do not wish use that avenue of support then it would greatly help if you could give a forum url where this behavior you describe can be observed. More than likely it is a rule specificity (priority) problem but to determine a "proper solution" would require evaluating all the rules competing for the limelight.
