You need to go to admin > structure > layout templates > profile.
Make sure you have the correct theme selected, then click the "reset" button and save your changes.

If that doesn't work you can try disabling any plugins that you have installed recently For whatever it's worth, the above is a known issue with customised themes that have been around the library for some time, as ProBoards made a change to how the profile view page is constructed that has broken any changes those themes have made to the view profile area.
