New & No new post Icons

Hi!

So instead of the rotating avatars on the homepage of who posted last in each forum, i'd like to just have it show this:  if there's new posts

if there isn't any new posts

I'm not very technical saavy, I used a premade template and edited parts of it (with permission  from the author) but not sure how to go about this.

Hi, remnantique .

In Themes > Layout Templates > Board > Board List on your theme lines 25 through 41 control the output of that avatar. All you'd have to do to return the New Posts and No New Posts icons is replace those lines with this:

$[board.icon]

Then whichever icons you've specified in the Images tab of your theme's settings in the Theme Manager will be displayed instead. Right now they're folder icons, but uploading your images there will make the forum utilize the tree icons instead.
