Combining the tt, pre, and noubbc tags may be a better option in this case.

(note: i broke the tags with closed tags in each bracket so they would display like this

because nested noubbc brackets are not supported and i wanted you to see what the raw code would look like.)

The above would then be displayed like this:

Due to the pre tags, this would also mean spacing would be supported, as below:
