I would like to be able to design signatures?, icons?, banners? for my forum and do it on the fly via android mobile devices?.
I need apps recommendations.
There are several highly rated apps at the google store but they don't seem to produce commercial grade high quality gfx that I am looking for. Then again it may just be my lack of skills too ?
If you have tried some of these android apps and don't mind sharing go for it! Paid or free apps, either is fine.
As an alternative (or in addition to) you can list any good website that has pre-built royalty free gfx to use for such purpose.

You are absolutely not going to get "commercial grade high quality gfx" from a mobile app, full stop. There may be a few editors and sticker/font type apps, but you will not get the same capabilities. You will need a desktop. Now, are there sort of ways around this? Yes. Adobe has free versions of Lightroom and Photoshop Fix available, as well as Photoshop Express and Mix (these are all free, but with the option to subscribe to unlock features & remove apps). There are several non-adobe apps that will allow you to sketch out your ideas (I like medibang, ibis paint, and sketchbook pro [ sketchbook pro costs $5USD to unlock all features ]) and use photo filters/editing (there are way too many to list and most of them are fine). "Pre-built royalty free gfx"... you're not asking for a lot are ya :P Very few websites offers /nice/ royalty free graphics, but you may want to check out creative market. There are very many wonderful things here and some of them are free, or low price (I've gotten a few things for a dollar). There's new content every month, too, and being a member entitles you to some free stuff as well. You may also want to check out mighty deals. The link is to the free stuff section which changes FREQUENTLY, but there are also huge sales. I've bought a $200 USD font pack for $20 USD for instance, so it's definitely worth looking through them -- the drawback is that the deals are TIMED so if you don't have the money right away you'll probably miss out.

That's great, lots of different options to try and yes my expectations might be set a bit too high ? Applications on mobile will probably never be as good as those designed for the standard desktop still they dont have to be as good just close enough will do. Thanks for apps recommendations and the websites links too !
