Side by side Boards

After tireless searching, the past couple of days I'm gonna post and ask for help because I can't figure it out. I was looking for a code to make the boards on my forum look like either fo these:

csmundum, Once I get the rledkins2016789 taken care of, I can help you, if you want any specific changes. Otherwise, you can just use what I post here.

That looks great. I do have subboards on alot of my boards as well but they dont have to show up on each board.I dont set moderators to the boards to thats not nessecary either. I just wanted my boards side by side lol.

I will need to know how to edit colors or whatever so it matches the colors of my forum.

I can talk you through any changes you want made but you'll have to wait your turn and tell me what you think it needs to look amazing. BTW, everyone wants their site to look amazing. lol If the OP or the second poster doesn't respond in the next day or so, I'll move on to you.

I  am the original poster and i responded already.  I changed my username since then. Sorry for the confusion.

Aww, thanks for the explanation. Before I give you the instructions and template coding/css I need to make sure it is cross browser and clean up the coding so it is pretty but I'm just not into doing that tonight. But tomorrow, for sure.

Alrighty, here is the Board List template. This will replace everything you have under the board list tab.

New redone version:
Removed as still bugs in this using the plugin for images in board descriptions


I left moderators and sub-boards in there but commented them out so the browser won't render them. That way, if you ever change your mind you can just un-comment them. 

Here is the css to go at the bottom of your style sheet. I have this set up to pick up theme colors but some of it was for another users preferences so there might be something you need tweaked.

It's not working right. Maybe I did something wrong?

the second in the CSS section but it's not working right. everything is appearing outside of my forum border.

hers the link to my forum so you can see what it's doing. Luckily we aren't very active so it won't hurt to leave it til adjusted right

I enabled the redux side tables on my test site and it's doing the same thing as on your site so give me a bit to fiddle with things. You can put it back to what you had before, if you want since I was able to replicate this. I have used this code over and over again revamping for different members so no surprised something might of gone haywire. I'll try to get this figure out before I go to be but if not tonight, tomorrow. Sorry about that.

I'll try to get this done asap but thanks for your understanding. I ended up scrapping what I did, started a new theme and started over because my brain was not finding hwat was causing the boards to jump out of the forum area. There are some things I'm not happy with so am not done but at least all the boards are where they are supposed to be. It's late and I just am too tired to work on it tonight but here is where I am:




I have alignment issues and for some crazy reason the only thing you can click to get to the threads/sub-boards is by clicking the title of the board. I want the description area to be clickable. Unfortunately, life is keeping me busy after work so the only time I seem to work on this is when my brain has already shut down for the night.

Multi Realm Owner Skylar,

Go back and recopy the code I gave you a few post back. It's all revamped. Again, you'll probably have to change the background colors to suit your needs although it is set up to use theme colors, the colors still may not work well on certain themes.
