Okay so Tumbleweed its almost right! Looks alot better not just needs the colors tweaked but it removed my board description images. The last code you made though it messed up the layout.. it still allowed the images.

Okay so Tumbleweed its almost right! Looks alot better not just needs the colors tweaked but it removed my board description images. The last code you made though it messed up the layout.. it still allowed the images. So you didn't tell me you wanted to add images in your description area nor did the screen caps show images. Are you using a plugin for adding the images or just adding them when you go to your board description area? I'm going to assume the latter and go see what I can do on my test site (but I forgot which test site that was but I'll find it ). Twf, I was able to add images on my test site (granted they are totally the wrong size):http://eltestsite1.proboards.com/ going the Admin> Structure> Categories & Boards> way. I'm testing the plugin now. O.K. So I got it to work but there are some issues I need to work out. Using the plugin took out the description height I had set in the css (Now fixed via a template adjustment). The boards that didn't have an image were adjusting to however much text you had in there. You can see what happened on my test site. The board "Punks" and "Meanies" are the only ones using an image via the plugin AND if I click on the board, it gives me an error. (<<fixed) The other two (Test Board Two & General Board) were added via boards in the admin panel. So this may take some time to figure it out. (I'm going to reinstall the plugin as I already had it on that site but it may be an old version.) Giving up for the night. I still can't get rid of the error. This template may not be compatible with the plugin. The images I added via boards have no issue going to the threads/sub-boards within. Update: Not sure if you are getting antsy but I've reworked the template but still have a couple bugs to fix. The error I talked about above is fixed. I just have the board title missing on those using the plugin, which isn't a small bug. Fix one thing, you break something else. Edit again: I just tried that plugin on a fresh theme with zero template mods and it still removes the board name. I'm not doing anymore until you can confirm you are using this plugin: www.proboards.com/library/plugins/item/112

I'm sorry, forgot to check this thread to see if you replied. And sorry about your surgery. Hope you are recovering as expected. So I don't know what to do about the plugin removing the board name. As I said in my previous post, when I couldn't find what I did wrong on the side by sides I was doing for you, I put the plugin on a brand new theme that is basically ProBoards default and it removed the board name. I can't change what the plugin does is what I'm saying so I'm not sure where to go from here.

Tumbleweed.....the board names were invisible until I went and changed the colors in the coding. I can see them now. It was just the Lack of the board images there that was the problem but I appreciate all of your hard work on this!

Tumbleweed .....the board names were invisible until I went and changed the colors in the coding. I can see them now. It was just the Lack of the board images there that was the problem but I appreciate all of your hard work on this! Here is the plugin on a brand new theme. putteraroundviii.proboards.com/ (no template changes, no css changes and ProBoards default colors) The board name is there in boards where there is no image but see where I added an image in the Fun Things category. No board name. That's what I'm saying. The board name is there until you add a image.
I know right now a image isn't showing up for you but I do have that worked out in the new template. I'm not sure what to do at this point since the board name was part of the template layout you wanted.
If you create a new theme not touching any of the templates or css on your site, see if the board name is there if you add an image. Then maybe you'll see what I mean.
Edit: I might have found kind of a crazy work-around and so far no obvious bugs but I'll take a fresh look tomorrow after I get some zzz's. Who knows what a half asleep brain might miss. Edit again: Checked it out and all works well. But I have ran into a final question and it's stupid I didn't think of this because I spent a lot of time making the description area clickable so it takes you to the sub-boards/threads but one actually wouldn't want that if you are using the slide or fade option to reveal a description. So my final question is what option in the plugin are you using? Slide down, Fade over or Next to? I need to revert back to making it non-clickable and to test whatever "show the description" you are using. This realization that I didn't consider the slide down, fade over made me glad I found a work around for the board name to show or otherwise there would be no way to get to the threads within unless the plugin makes the description revealed then clickable? Haven't tested that but I will.Multi Realm Owner Skylar, The above I posted is all current but I have decided that plug in you are using makes no sense to me. It puts a image there, gives you option of "slide, fade or beside" to show your board description but no matter what speed you set in fade or slide, it never gives you time to read the description which defeats the whole purpose of the "effect". Again, this is on my brand new theme with no template or css changes: putteraroundviii.proboards.com/ Click on the image to read the description and see how fast it goes to the theads/sub-boards. How about we do all css to add the images which means it is time to initially set it up but you can easily copy and paste in new themes and also not use the css if you want a totally different theme without images or different images. Here is an example on my test site. (I only have two boards set up with an image.) I honestly don't want to deal with the plugin you are using.
