Starting up an RP forum

Hi, so I started an RP forum where I will use the world I have been working on for a long time (although I rebooted it some weeks ago and are starting it over). I already have lots of admin experiences from Animexx, a site where you can have your own RPs and stuff, but decided to move away from there - one reason being that German only makes finding new players pretty hard and the other one being that you have to pay 1 euro per month to be able to use avatars and stuff and I started to see that's a bit much for stuff that should be naturally included. So, long story short - I moved here and just do my own thing now. It's a lot harder 'cause there is no premade stuff anymore but it also opens up a lot more possibilities (like having more than measly 6 description pages).
As you can guess I am pretty enthusiastic when it comes to stuff like this - so much that I did like 90% of the work in my old RPs, so you can be sure I won't just abandon it.
I already have some plugins and a theme for now, so I would like to know what else I could do for now.

To start with, you could take some time and check out the extensive Theme and Plugin Libraries:

Plugin Library


Those 2 libraries could get you, at least, something to start with in regards to themes and functionality (plugins).

Thanks, although I already have like 40 plugins already but I'm not sure which theme to take and already looked through them. There wasn't anything that matches, from what I saw.
Edit: I think I found one that should be good for now. Are you allowed to change the forum logo of a theme like that?

You'd have to ask whoever made the theme, as far as I know, but usually you are allowed to customize things like that.

Well, they were last online 2013, so I don't expect there will be a response.
