It's kind of "hit or miss" apparently. I tried it with a few different "targets" and it worked great with some and was a failure with others.

Yes... and no. I tested it with a "non-staff" test account of mine, as well as with my "regular, every-day, staff" account, and tested those accounts against both staff and non-staff accounts. The mix of what worked and what didn't, didn't seem to have any "staff" correlation.

Well that's my idea out the window then haha. I'll leave this to todge. It may be helpful to provide links to those that work versus those who don't

I'll see what I can do on that front! (so as to not reveal too much I'm just going to use "user numbers" for references here in the thread) Using my "regular" account (RichardInTN / "user 2"): - When I block "user 14" (NON-staff) - posts themselves on the actual threads are still visible, but the actual thread listing on the threads list page of the subforum are gone, as well as their mentions of "last post by" are erased.
- When I block "user 6" (Staff) - posts themselves on the actual threads are still visible, but the but the actual thread listing on the threads list page of the subforum are gone, as well as their mentions of "last post by" are erased.
- When I block "user "28" (NON-staff) - posts themselves on the actual threads are still visible, but the actual thread listing on the threads list page of the subforum are gone, as well as their mentions of "last post by" are erased.
- When I block "user "22" (NON-staff) - posts themselves on the actual threads are are gone, and the actual thread listing on the threads list page of the subforum are also gone, as well as their mentions of "last post by" are erased.
- When I block "user "3" (Staff) - posts themselves on the actual threads are are gone, and the actual thread listing on the threads list page of the subforum are also gone, as well as their mentions of "last post by" are erased.
Same effect on the same users happens when I use my "testing" account (Richard's Testing Account / "user 43")

RichardInTN.. Could you please post or PM me the URLs of the pages that the code is failing on. Also, are you using heavily modified template/theme?

RichardInTN .. Could you please post or PM me the URLs of the pages that the code is failing on. Also, are you using heavily modified template/theme? Can't really post the page's URLs themselves, because I just looked for instances of each person posting, then set up the plugin, and then re-loaded the page. I could go back and recreate the test though, and get the URLs... if you think that would help. I am running all 40 plugins we are "allowed" without purchasing extra plugin space (including this one, last), using 8 of 10 Keys and both SuperKeys. But other than that I wouldn't say I am running "heavily modified" templates/themes. Here's a list (in order): If you'd like, I would be happy to give you Admin access (you just need to create an account. if you do it during the day it may not get approved until I come on later... I'm a night person) if that would help.

I can't see any other plugin that looks like it may be conflicting with this one, but try moving this plugin to the very top of the lis and see if that works..
Failing that, temporarily disable ALL of your other plugins and check again to see if this one has started behaving. If it has, start re-enabling your other plugins a few at a time, checking each time to see if this plugin starts to misbehave to try and narrow own any conflict.
Then let me know of any findings you have...

Have been a little busy recently (just enough time to post and "manage normal functions", no "time to test new functions") ... will get to this soon! Didn't want you to think I was ignoring your request for testing Todge.

Moved the plugin to "second from the top" (only Yootil is above it), no changes in it's erratic functionality (can't remember where, but I seem to recall it being important that Yootil be "first" on many other plugins could be affected).
Just for giggles though I DID move it to the top after moving it to the #2 spot didn't help... No Joy there either.
Gotta wait a few more hours before I try disabling everything else.

Doing the "disable all else" test will have to wait until tomorrow (hopefully)... it got busy again at work.

No worries.. Take your time.
I noticed that it only seems to be the individual posts that sometimes remain, and as it's not erratic with the same with the same member, it leads me to believe that the problem is probably with your members mini-profiles.
If you could PM or post a link to one of your erroneous members posts or profile page, I can take a look and see.

Here's a link to the post from the first member that I noticed it won't hide: buildinggreatness.proboards.com/post/28108And a link to the whole thread: buildinggreatness.proboards.com/post/28108/thread***Interesting note: I'm using Chrome and if I "Inspect" (using the RIGHT-Click-while-hovering-over-the-page menu) I can make it disappear as if it never existed by changing this element.style {
} to element.style {
display: none; } makes it go away completely or changing it to element.style {
visibility: hidden; } makes the entire post disappear but leaves the box itself (blank) visible

Yup, both 'display: none' and 'visibility: hidden' will hide the cell, all we have to do is try and work out why the plugin isn't doing it for you...
I notice that the post that has refused to disappear is quoting another post.. Is this the case with ALL the posts that are not being removed?
