Alright, I moved the posts, threads, last post over in the line where the board name is. Currently I have them set in a table with certain widths for each column but I could have them float left so they are more snug toward the board name but I can tell you right now, it might end up looking messy if you have all kinds of board names that are different widths.

Anyway, take a look and tell me what you want me to do/try next. (I only have one board with a image on this test site) abetteramerica.freeforums.net/

I'm working on it. This was more of a pain than I thought but that's o.k. I asked what you wanted me to do next to make it like you want it so I asked for it.  But do take a look. (link in prev. post) I'm need to get everything centered yet, but since i'm using float:left and then having that | between them makes it so I can't have spaces between each underling section. Well, let's just say I got frustrated with it and gave up but may try again tomorrow when I try to finish things up.

No biggy. And sorry, I didn't get at it today. I have more relatives visiting but I take them to the airport in the morning so should have free time sometime tomorrow to finish this up for you.
Edit: I'm doing cross browser testing on larger screens(looks good on IE, Chrome, Edge and FF) but right now it looks like crap on any small device like a cell phone or small tablet so am trying to fix that. The board name doesn't want to align like the others. Wish me luck but another day delay because I've been trying things for a good 40 minutes so I need a fresh mind the next time I look at it. Hope you understand. Are you really sure you like this look?

I checked and it looks a little different than what I had in mind I was wondering if you'd mind to try another design I had in mind?...I really, really appreciate this, thank you for helping me so much

I'll be more than happy to try something else because personally, i'm not liking this look at all but didn't want to come flat out and say so if your heart was set on it.

Just give me something to go on and I can get started.

This is another design I have in mind. Think of the Hamburger custom page shape but sideways.

However they would be in a box/container and touching each other.
If its possible, that would only work for certain categories, the others the images would just be new/old images.

EDIT The middle one would be rectangular.

Hey, I just have to say this and then I'll shut up giving my opinion and try to do what you asked but I have to say it. I hope all the boards that have this custom layout are all in one category because looking at my test site it looks like a hot mess and just too busy and confusing and the new concept is even more complicated and busy. Sorry, when I see not the best design ideas, I just have to speak up but ultimately, it is your site and I am here to help you achieve what you want. I'll shut up now and I hope I didn't offend you. I'll see how far I can get on this tonight but later tonight.

There are two categories and all the boards in them will have a different image for each, if that makes sense. And I just mean, the first and last containers will be square; the other rectangular.

Alrighty, I'll try to figure this out and I'm not quite sure I understand what you meant but it sounds like the imaged boards won't be one here and then on over there so it will look more orchestrated.  Thanks for being patient and taking no offense.  Wish me luck on figuring out how to do your example. (Probably tomorrow.)

 Unfortunately, I can't see the drawing as it seems something is wrong with the link but if you can fix that, I'm sure that will help me a lot. And don't worry about your writing, no one can write well on devices.
