pitszal , I'm only seeing a shoutbox in the provided image and on the home page of the provided forum so we'll go with them being shoutbox timestamps. To modify them so they say yesterday/today go to your theme's home template and add the TWO CODES from this post to the bottom of that home template.

Chris as you see in the above^ "Dedicating Our Board" can I have the date only not the time and all the others like "Welcome Friends"  saying Today/Yesterday instead of the hours.
The SB can remain the same

If you do not want to affect the shoutbox timestamps then use the single code in this post instead, place it in the home template as described before in my previous post then to hide the time add the following code below that code in the home template

<style>.modified_time > span:not(.today):not(.yesterday) {display:none;}</style>

Why are you not able to copy the code?

If your using a tablet / iPad / phone, it would make it a lot easier on a laptop or pc.

OMG! I just got it to work! It says today/yesterday. However the dates that are older are blank on the home page. only.

Sorry pitszal , still working blind here since I can only see a shoutbox and no boards on that homepage but to remedy that replace this style code I gave earlier:

<style>.modified_time > span:not(.today):not(.yesterday) {display:none;}</style>

with this style code:

<style>.modified_time .at, .modified_time .at-time {display:none;}</style>

(assuming you want to see no time info on any timestamp, if you want to see time on older dates then that will need to be amended)
