Can I increase my Max Per Image?

So I'm working on my theme and many images I'm working with are more than 1 MB. If I increase my storage will it also increase the Max Per Image? And if not, is there a way to do so?

The limit is set serverside and we can't affect it. The only way to do this would be to host the image(s) elsewhere and use the provided URL to update your theme.
