mayhem5.proboards.com/Several members have reported a problem on our site where the Quick Reply box does not stretch the full width of the title bar like it should. It happens on multiple skins, but only in Google Chrome (and I believe only on Windows computers, as the one Mac we tested it on did not have this problem). I'm not sure if it's a CSS issue, template issue, or something else, but I have not been able to figure out what is causing it. I did test removing the REPLY button from the title bar, and that did make the box go all the way across, but I have no idea what about the button would be the problem. Thank you for any help you can give.

Can you please post a link to your forum, and ensure that at least one board is oprn to guests.
Anybody able to help you would probably need to see your forum to work out the reason why this is happening.

Anybody able to help you would probably need to see your forum to work out the reason why this is happening. Sorry, I thought I had included a link in the first post. Here is a direct link to a thread that guests can post in, so you can see the Quick Reply box. I also am not sure if the issue exists when the "Guest Name" bar is visible. mayhem5.proboards.com/thread/26293/freaky-lot

Strange.. It looks OK for me.. Try adding 'float: right' to the CSS of the UL tag containing the button.

If I'm looking in the right place, that is already part of the CSS.
.container > .title-bar > .controls { float: right; }
This is the code for the Layout Template of the Quick Reply box, which I believe has never been edited from the default:
<div class="container quick-reply"> <div class="title-bar"> <ul class="controls"><li>$[reply_button]</li></ul> <h2>Quick Reply</h2> </div> <div class="content cap-bottom"> $[form.header] {if $[form.created_by_guest_name.input]} <div class="guest_name"> <label>Guest Name:</label> $[form.created_by_guest_name.input] </div> {/if} <div class="message"> $[form.message.input] </div> $[captcha] $[form.post.button] $[form.footer] </div> </div>
Is there a possibility that the Guest Name box could be making it display the right width? Everyone we have tested with has been logged in and so wouldn't see that box.

The Reply button is in a separate parent cell, and so shouldn't effect the layout of another cell, but it obviously is... The same goes for the Guest Name field. I removed it to make sure, and it made no difference. Do you mind if I register on your forum to take a look?

Do you mind if I register on your forum to take a look? Not at all! I appreciate any help you can give. EDIT: Also I noticed the class name for the REPLY button at the top of the thread is the same, and it's not affecting the width of its boxes this way. x.x If that information helps.

I'm afraid I'm at a loss... Your forum Quick Reply looks fine to me , no matter what browser I use.
