Similar to the OP Replies plugin it would be convenient to have an OP Labels plugin. This way only the thread creator and selected staff can edit and apply labels on certain boards. It is pretty hazardous to allow any member or guest the ability to change labels of any thread in my opinion. I prefer to avoid mistakes by making them not possible to even make. At first I thought this was what the label permissions already meant until I went on my usertest account to try it out. I was concerned when it had the ability to edit labels on threads that was not it's own. I unfortunately have very limited JS understanding so cannot make this on my own. As far as features go, I was thinking something similar to what is available in OP Replies. A way to define which boards only allow OP and specified Groups to change and add labels, in general, to their own threads. Thank you for your time. EDIT: Fixed the title, it was worded weird. was "OP Can Apply Label to own thread only"

Thank you ChrisThat thread is very informative and I completely forgot about using the Global Header! The tips in the code itself are wonderful! This might even help me with editing the nav-tree the way I asked about in Coding Help. I am pretty flaky at script knowledge, but would like to learn. I'll play around with it to try to figure it out and reply to my own thread if I can. Thank you again! I just feel embarrassed I couldn't find that thread while looking around. This thread can be marked as resolved.
