Hi, Plixlze. The location of the top ad is determined by the $[header] variable's location in Themes > Layout Templates > Forum Wrapper. The ideal way to accomplish this would be to make your sidebar start after that variable instead of before it. Note that the $[header] variable also determines the location of the contents of your forum's headers as well as those of any plugins that use the header/footer component, so depending on what's present within those their contents may shift around as well.

Brian Alright I've moved everything under the $[header] but I've now run into the problem of the banner moving above everything else and not being aligned next to the sidebar.

You'll need to disable the Welcome Header Below Ad plugin now that you're manually moving the banner.
