Is it possible to have some sort of canned responses plugin, similar to the canned responses lab (https://sites.google.com/a/nhusd.k12.ca.us/appshelp/home/mail-tips/cannedresponses) in Gmail?

Peter, I've got the Canned Responses installed on my Birds At Night forum, but I can't get the canned responses button to appear. This is most likely due to something on my end, as I have no problem with it on another forum of mine. I'm guessing that it might be a change in something I might have done in my template(s), but not sure what would be stopping it from showing. If you have the time, could you please take a look and see if you can point me to where the trouble may be? Feel free to re-register if you need to, and I can give you access to the Plugins for testing as well. Trying to create a new thread:  Trying to create a new (full) reply:  Trying to edit a post:  Settings:  I've tested this on my main admin account, and I also have the Birds At Night Dev as my active display group. Thank you for any help!

Peter, I've added you to the Plugin Assistance group which gives you access to Plugins and Themes (in case you need to check Layout Templates). We only have 1 canned response (Spam Post) right now, but I've added the Plugin Assistance group to the Who Can Use field.

Ok, all fixed. I had to delete the plugin and install the correct one. When downloading any plugin from any of my GitHub repositories, make sure to download from the Releases page. You must have downloaded the PBP file directly from the repository listing, because the code in that plugin does not initialise the plugin at all, as it's a development version. |
