Multiple Choice Quizzes

I apologize if a similar request has already been posted.

I am a teacher and I would like to create a forum for my students to do some online work and discussions.

I would like the ability to place a short customizable 5 question quiz that forum members need to complete before being able to view a thread, like a password for the thread.  I would like to add different quizzes for different threads, create my own questions and answers, offer a hint button, and give a comment for incorrect responses.


If this is not possible would it be possible to embed a PowerPoint that the member must complete before viewing the thread.
