Chrome update problem.

Had this comment from a member, suspect she is using Chrome ,but waiting to be confirmed, as l have a similar issue

"For the last day or 2 when I click on "new" I just get taken to the top of the page rather than directly to the latest comment & when I press the next page I get taken to the next page but the very bottom of it - below the shout box. 
I tried logging out & in again. "

My question is, if that is correct ,and it is being, or has been dealt with ,can a time scale be possibly be given for the fix that can be passed on please?

This has actually been brought up a few times already, it is indeed a Chrome issue, if the user is not working with Chrome, being aware of the browser would likely help. The fix is in place, it is simply waiting on a code push.

I am aware of the issue,and the fix, my question was about time-scale.

We do not have an estimate for when the push will take place. A code push typically involves multiple changes, and we've almost never done a code push for a fix to a single issue.

I am also having (as is my members) the same issue.  It just started the other day.  Chrome is the only browser I use and I never had a problem until a couple days ago.  I look forward to a correction.

Hi Everyone,

I understand that this is frustrating but it unfortunately was completely outside of our control. The fix is now live internally and is being tested (along with a bunch of other upcoming fixes/updates) and will hopefully be pushed out to all of you early next week assuming our internal testing goes well.

It also does the same thing to me when I post.  I doesn't take me to my post, it takes me to the top of the screen.

Can't wait for this to be fixed, it's really annoying.

Yeah.  It will be for anything [auto] scrolling related, unfortunately.
