I don't know about cheating, but I know that if you go into the member list and just click around on members and the various tabs in their profiles, you can collect a lot of scavenger items.

First off, it is possible to cheat. I could forge key data for any plugin on here. Secondly, how much is impossibly high? Are they being rewarded if they win? Do they average a certain amount per day or did they just show up with a bunch?

Lynx, wanted to tell you I finally installed the latest version in preparation for a Thanksgiving hunt. It works like a dream according to my tests. I'll turn it loose on the forums in a couple of weeks.

Just an update for everyone:

As it's near the holiday seasons (I live in the US), and that I've been going to my Mother's place almost every week to help get her set up with wood for the fireplace for the winter (running chainsaw and splitting), I haven't had much time to work on any of my plugins at all recently.

I haven't forgot about any of my plugins, especially this one - I just simply haven't had time. I'm completely wore out when I do get back home, and it takes me a couple of days to recuperate (age is certainly not my friend for this ).

As such, since there's still a lot more wood that has to be cut and split (short days don't give much daylight time), it will most likely be after the new year before I'm able to resume work on any of them.

I know a lot of you were looking forward to having a leaderboard for this plugin (and it's still on top of my priority list for it), so I apologize that I haven't been able to get it done before the holidays.

On my forum, each member can only see their own candy count. Everyone else shows 0. Is there a way I can get all candy counts to be shown in the mini-profile?

Just checked and this is happening on my forums as well.  

Something must have hiccuped somewhere, because a similar problem popped up on the Rudolph's Presents game too.

Lynx, is this some kind of Proboards-wide glitch on Keys?

Hello! I used the older version of this and tested it out for awhile, but then it suddenly deleted all the items I collected while testing. So I uninstalled it, and then discovered this new version. But it still won't keep track of items I collect. Is there any way to fix this? I think its' because I edited the key options, but how do I reset to default?

That is simply due to a software error that proboards has been working on yesterday and today. It is affecting all plug-ins using super keys. So if you're just patient, hopefully sometime today or maybe tomorrow it will be fixed and your counts should correct themselves.

I know what you mean.... I'm set to launch a Christmas version of this game on Dec. 1, and am hoping PB will have it fixed by then!

flyingcats, did the fix last night resolve your issue?  It appears it did on my test forum.  I plan to go live with it tomorrow and it would be good to hear you think it is working too!

Update that this plugin's current version is working fine. If you were in the midst of playing it when the plugin keys went kafloowee, then some but not necessarily all of your members likely lost their count of collected prizes. I didn't start mine until after it was fixed, so cleared my keys anyway. And it has been working flawlessly since I turned it on.
