Lynx forgive me, I read through the posts and know you have heart problems and are really poorly. I hope you are doing okay now or as best as you can be.
If you feel like you can help me, or anyone whom is familiar with this plugin, I'd be truly grateful.
I have tried for the past 3 days, working for hours trying to get the Halloween features to produce the text I want it to when the window pops up when prize detector activates.
I've filled in all the fields, made sure I linked all the images and that part is fine.
The prize detector image in the proboards toolbar shows up and when clicked on, that part of the text works as I want it to. All okay there...
The pop up windows, there are 3 of them in total. No matter what I try these won't display the text I'd like.
Now the version of this plugin in the library, is 1.2.0 BETA, and isn't directly editable. This is on my test forum, so I scrapped that one. It's no good to me as it's not editable.
Weirdly I have the same 1.2.0 version on my "real" forum but this one IS editable and I can change the text of the code within this plugin. That's not really an issue, obviously the versions got mixed up somewhere along the way. No problem, this one has all the latest modifications I need.
Sooo, I've used this version and have changed the text to what I what it to show along with the image.

Now I did this two ways. The first way, I used the hints that you can input with the new modifications.
I have tried all I can think of to get these to show up, but they refuse to work for me.
So I figured okay, it's editable I'll change the text within the code.
I find the text, it's quite simple to change. I replaced the image with one of my own, and changed the line of text to what I'd like to show.
It all looked fine, I didn't remove anything, simply changed the text and the link for the image I want displayed.
It didn't work. I figured I'd accidentally removed some of the code, so I removed the plugin, all data and everything.
I reinstalled.
I tried again, through the editable part of the plugins modifications. No luck, it still wouldn't work.
So cleared all that again and went back in the code.
I changed the text on the first window that pops up when you've collected 5 somethings.
I changed the text only, saved.
The counter as been reset so I start collecting again. I reach 5.
Again, no luck!
After several more attempts I took a break.
I have the image showing up in the toolbar, I have the text displayed on that which is fine and the detector works as it should.
I'm am so stuck with these pop up windows it's driving me insane.
It seems whenever I try to change the text or the image within the code I break it. But I can't see anything I'm doing wrong.

like I said bear with me, lol.I downloaded the old version. The unmodified first version from the OP.
This is editable of course, but with none of the later glamour, it's just a basic scavenger game.
I edit the code, change the text on all 3 window popups.
It worked...I don't understand it...It worked.
I did nothing different other than change the text.
So is it me??? Is the plugin faulty or I am???
Anyway, so my questions are for anyone that can answer them. Why doesn't the new modification on the 1.2.0 version work for? Does it for you?
Why the two different versions? Is it a mistake??? Or doesn't the other "version" work.
It's been upgraded more and it's a larger file that the other. The one in the plugin library is 9.85k the one I'm using is 18k.
I have two links here to my Google Drive. One PBP file is from the OP, linked back to the plugin library.
The other is from MSG/LYNX, when it was posted on here at some point. This is the larger file and has more modifications to it.
From the here, this thread.From Plugin Library, linked from OPSo, anyway, after all that, I can use the scavenger hunt. The leaderboard is set up, everything works perfectly.
It's just editing that text for the pop up windows for the prize detector, I am totally lost.
Any help? Any suggestions?
