So I get my monthly bill statement emailed to me saying -$95 with my thinking that's how much I owe them. It also says no payment required So I give them a call about it. I asked why is my bill so high this month? They said you don't owe us anything and not to be paid until you get an email saying you do. Werid I've always paid my credit balance off.
DUE DATE 10/23/2017 TOTAL DUE -95.77
Previous Balance -61.24 Payment(s) -61.24 Current Charges 26.71
Heavily confused :/

The minus sign indicates it is a negative balance, or in other words that they currently owe you $95.77. Last month there was a negative balance of $61.24 and then a payment for that amount, making a credit of $122.48. Your actual charges last month were $26.71. $122.48 credit balance minus $26.71 = $95.77 remaining as a credit balance.
You'd have to look at your prior bills or call them, but there was probably an over payment (or maybe a returned deposit or refund) at some point in the last few months. You've had a credit balance since. You don't owe anything at this point. Your next bill will deduct from that $95.77 they owe you. You won't owe anything until your bills use up that $95.77 credit/overage.

Still makes me happy I don't have to worry about paying them.

A lot are designed around the concept of us always owing them and not the other way around. I've had some accounts just out of the blue sending me a check to wipe out a credit as they didn't want it on their books.

I have literally had checks, including from the federal government, for a few pennies. It's frustrating on my end, but it keeps their books cleaner. I can understand that too as a businessman.

Imagine my utter disappointment when I opened this thread and found out it wasn't about the surround sound setup
