can't remove sub-board links from board face

I know you're supposed to remove a specific section of coding, but mine is different in appearance to what you're supposed to remove.

You're SUPPOSED to remove this:

<p class="sub-boards">
Sub-board{if $[board.sub_board] != 1}s{/if}:
{foreach $[board.sub_board]}<a href="$[board.sub_board.href]">$[board.sub_board.name]</a>$[board.sub_board.comma] {/foreach}

However MINE looks like this:

I'm wondering if I already moved the section required?
Because when I remove the section I just pasted above, it DOES remove the sub-board links from the main page's boards. However in place of those sub-board links it puts a small gray box that states 32 x 32 within.

Can you post the entire template code? I ask this because I'm seeing a closing </td> in the 2nd code snippet you posted. Not sure what's all in that <td>, so seeing the whole code will help to know if there's something else that may need to be removed, or if that </td> needs to be added back in.

I didn't even realize that. I don't even remember editing any of this so it must have been edited by the creator of the skin.

Tumbleweed I check when I'm able to get on the site and edit. No point in checking replies here if I don't have the time or am on my phone and unable to test out the suggestion.

Lynx I must have given you the wrong code. When I went back I couldn't find what you asked me to. However I have figured something out and believe I will be leaving the sub-board links where they are at the moment. Thank you for your help anyways!

Were you on the correct theme when you went back and checked? You might have been working on a different theme.
