iHeartCats.com - Is It the Real Deal?

I have ordered several things from this company when I found them on FB and then I sat back in my chair with a smug smile thinking what good I have done; and it wasn't until I researched the ASPCA that I realized that if they and the Goodwill can screw people  so badly, why not a small company like this.


So now I have spent the last hours searching to see if this company is the real deal. Many of you are way better at finding out if something is a scam than I am, and I would hate using my donation allowance on something that is a scam. I want to do business with this company : iHeartCats.com   ---  but as I said I am wondering if what they promise is, well, the truth.






That's why I am asking for help digging a little deeper than I could get.


I liked the idea of so many meals per purchase going to animal shelters, but now I'm really questioning just exactly what that means.

I recommend a site called chewy.com it's a great website they even offered me a discount code when I was short a few cents on a order

I poked around for a few minutes and found nothing to say they were not legitimate.

I have to say that all of these types of organizations that have these great ideas, but don't actually follow through, give me pause.  I'd rather donate directly to a local place/organization if I can.  There are a few that I trust on a more global level, but these are few and far in between anymore.

I already donate to many places that do good things for pets and shelter animal's, but that is just local - I like this places idea of donating meals to shelters around the country.

When you get a chance just look up how much of our donations actually go to the animals when you give to the ASPC.  So that is why I'm being more careful with something like this site which as well as supposedly doing good, tickles my fancy!

I completely agree.

I play it safe too, but I'm pretty lucky overall too, because most of the few national charities I sponsor, are great advocates for their cause and I can see where the proceeds go.  I prefer to knowing that something good is being done rather than supposedly being done.

I completely agree.

That's why I wanted to know more about this company...I love their products and the idea that they are donating part of their proceeds is the cherry on the cake for me...if it is true. That's why I was hoping to find someone who has better luck than I have, doing a search on this company and finding out if they really do what they say they do.

I'd recommend buying if you like their products for the sake of the products, absent any notion of charity. If charity is a concern then I'd probably buy on Amazon or wherever is cheapest and then donate separately.
