Ok so, I have a contact number WITH the persons area code. It works perfectly fine using Viber, and via regular call, BUT if I try contact them via WhatsApp (message) it doesn't show any profile data at the top (their photo etc), and when I send the message it only shows ONE grey tick - which I saw online says it has not been delivered.
They have WhatsApp installed and it works with other people perfectly.
I have tried adding in my contacts on my phone a separate section specifically for "whatspp" (you know, on iphone where you can give them a whatsapp number, viber and more). That had no effect/change. I also tried removing the area code of their country: nothing, still the same thing happens.
I don't have them blocked, and they don't have me blocked when we go to settings etc.
I have tried contacting them from my iphone AND PC, neither work.
I have even removed and re-added their number completely from my phone address book. It's truly annoying me and driving me mad.
Can anyone think of anything that may be causing this and something else to try to get it working?
