Side by Side boards?

I have been searching all day for a code that will make my boards side by side to reduce the amount of space taken up by ...nothing really.

I found a thread that said it was Completed, but I don't know what I did wrong.

I don't know if I have done something wrong, but this is not how I expected the site to look.

Just wanted to point out that what you want and the code you used are two different things... meaning, you want your "categories" side by side and you instead used code to put 'boards' side by side. Not the same.

The forum is structured as so..
Forum > Categories > Boards > Threads > Posts.

Ah, the categories being side by side isn't what I was after now that I've tried that coding. It's the boards being side by side that I would like. If you could help with that?

ok, didn't realize that was a non- PB forum.  I was going to look at the admin panel to see if they used a plugin or template code.

I'll see if I can find you a solution (no promises since I'm not a experienced coder like others, but see what I can do.)

Yes, I've got it on now and it's completely messed up my forum. The boards are no longer confined to their parent categories, the formatting is off.

I have managed to find something that's similar to what I am looking for; wicked-wonderland.boards.net/thread/97/suite-sister-mary-board-remodel
I don't know if there is anything else similar, but for the moment that is doing the job.

Is there a way to have certain boards side by side and some that are listed normally. Like I would like the boards within categories Out of Character, Characters & Members and Miscellaneous to be side by side, but I would like boards in the other categories to be listed normally.
