How to get styling to apply on to a certain container?

Hi

I'm using this code:

th, td {
padding: 5px;

}

but I want it to only apply to the 'recent threads side bar'

I am currently using it but it is applying to the whole forum - adding padding to every table and I can't seem to find it's id no matter which different ones I try

smhallyu You'll need to tell it to only look for the th and td inside the recent topics container. which has the id div#recent-topics

div#recent-topics th, div#recent-topics td {
    padding: 5px;
}
