Hi! I love this but sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I cant hear music /sometimes/ but my friends can. What's going on? I'm using Chrome.

This is in the plugins About toward the bottom and suggest you give this a try:

To test your audio sound format URL file is to copy/paste it directly into your browsers address bar and hit enter. If you don't hear anything, then your audio sound format file is not supported.

Ive spent hours trying to get this plugin to work. Ive researched everything i could to find a url ending in .mp3 which actually works. Dont have the faintest idea how to get this working anymore. Ive tried everything i could followed every step to get a url link ending in .mp3 that actually plays music. Still no luck. Ive been trying to get a .mp3 link from a mp3 file on google docs, but nothing seems to work. 

So if someone has any idea how to get a .mp3 url that works please give me a shout.

what I usually do is sign up for a free website like weebly then go to my theme and upload mp3s as a resource. That allows you to hotlink it anywhere.

ye just tried that. aparently need premium on weebly to add audio. Can add the download link just fine, but its not what i need.

I dont need premium for mine.  Not sure if they changed rules or you are doing something wrong. Either way there are plenty of free website hosts. Im sure one would work
