Probably doesn't compare too badly with other parts of the globe, but England is about to suffer under 'the beast from the east' as it's being called. The coldest March on record with potential lows of -8 degrees centigrade which is VERY cold for southern/central UK. All through next week I believe. Brits, wrap up warm!

At the moment here in the south of the UK it's only -1c but "feels like" -7c outside according to yahoo.

 It's not snowing anymore but, I woke up to a lot of it this morning. Now it's just cloudy!

Someone left the faucet on in Heaven. Rain and more rain the little creek is up past the banks, basement flooded. I did find where its coming in at and was able to put things over those places so it can be sealed out. Hot water heater got flooded. Furnaces and hot water heaters do not belong in basements!

Cloudy and sunny with a chilly breeze, 4c. They say (met) we are going to get some Siberian weather soon with freezing temperatures.

Maybe I'll get 'lucky' this time and our septic tank will back up because the marsh that abuts our house, floods...

Snow here, and very cold for the past week or so. Making up for the mild winter we have had so far it seems.

Just started snowing like a beauty here in Edinburgh, Scotland, and the met says it will be like this all week, I love the snow, Liz hates it lol. 

Edit: Oh and 1c atm but will drop to 2c later on.

I love snow, had some here but not lots. Temperature dropped a lot too which is making life little harder as pipes are freezing in our horses field. Having to fill up large containers and drag them around to refill the water buckets and take out the 3cm thick blocks of ice inside.

Currently 65 when it was freezing rain a week ago

Alexa tells me it's 58°F (and sunny). Anyone care to trade? I'm not yet ready for winter to end. If the storms that hit parts of this country this past weekend are any indication, this spring is going to be a real bitch. Frankly, I'd like to just go back to snow for awhile.

Yeah if it's already 65 then it's going to be a hot hot surf or the Midwest anyway.

Snowing heavy here and all over Scotland, Edinburgh, where we live, has now been put on 'Red Alert' by the Met, all the schools etc have been closed today and tomorrow also until the weather gets better.

The Grandsons will love this and a 'pound to a penny' they will be outside in the snow and enjoying their time off school lol, I know I did when I was a wee nipper, even Edinburgh Castle has been closed up for tourists.
