  Between mother nature and the weatherman they have no idea what's going on out there; snow, rain, cloud, sunshine who knows but, I do know it's light showers out there right now. *shrugs

This is so effin stupid!
In my town we only have a Yellow Warning and there is no damn wind, yet I have had 2 appointments for today cancelled on me because of the snow we have and "too windy". I know what you're thinking "but oh Brett, maybe the people are coming in from another town/city/village and so it is windy and dangerous for them"... Nope, they are located in my town and have previously mentioned walking to work before - in fact it's ME who has a 30 minute walk to each and they have about 10 mins. Yet I am the one who hates outside, hates people etc but am the one willing and wanting to go! What's happening!! haha


I feel like we have become weaker or something. I am sure when I was a kid schools did not close due to a foot of snow.

It's still snowing off and on but light snow, the problem is the light snow is settling on top of the snow already lying and it's getting deeper, I put our rubbish bag out into the bin in the back green and I would say it's about 3-4 inches deep, the sun is peeping out now and then but with the temp at -2c it's not doing anything to the snow.

The photo I enclosed in a post earlier when the snowstorm started and this photo is what it is like right now outside our flat, buses have been cancelled and it's still snowing with a strong wind and -2c, and guess what......I LOVE IT

We're having a wicked Nor'easter here.

Torrential rain, wind driven snow, and gusts of 60 mph.

Moved in Thursday night and won't be out of here until late Saturday morning.

March has come in like a lion.

Thankfully, my power stayed on. Many others weren't as lucky. There's downed trees and power lines everywhere.

Here, I just have lots of downed limbs and branches. And all of my outside decor is strewn to the ground, including very heavy items like wrought iron benches!

The sun has come out this afternoon and the winds have decreased from 60 mph to 40, so I'm doing a lot of clean up in all three gardens. But others have it much worse than I do. So I will not complain.

Well, that's the snow finished and whatever is left the rain is clearing it away, 3c damp and cold here.
