Imgur Upload plug-in

Imgur seems a rather popular image host so it seems a logical choice for a plugin.

Would it be possible to write a plugin that functions in a similar fashion to Simple Image Upload ? That one requires no key yet seems to recognize whether the user is logged into his image account or not then allows the user the option of logging into their host account or uploading the image anonymously to the host.

Also, a nice touch would be to allow the user to to look through his/her Imgur gallery to select an image they had already uploaded, then apply the image tags and drop that into the post being created. If that could be accomplished it would be a worthy inclusion.

Unfortunately, Imgur's ToS prohibits hotlinking images from their site. Their ToS states that an offender's account can be banned if they are caught doing so.

As such, I doubt that someone would make this plugin - as it would be a blatant violation of their ToS.

I read their ToS and it appears you're right.  However, their interface seems to encourage hotlinking on message boards and forums.
