I would like the member profile section to have more information regarding the character they will be able to fill in.
These are screenshot of the user CP section on an old site, that I was trying on MyBB, but couldn't figure out. If I could maybe have sections like this, on the profiles that the users could fill in accordingly, and when its saves it displays it.

Obviously I would like the sections names different, but if it's something that would be fairly easy to modify once the template / customisation is up that would be fine.
Even if it is on a new tab on the user profile, that would be handy.
I hope this makes sense, if not I will see if I can explain it further or clear any complications up.

koakiin, You can set custom profile fields for members' profiles, by going to Admin > Members > Custom Profile Fields. Have you checked this out?

I knew of it, but I wasn't aware that that would be suitable for what I am trying to do. Is there a page/image that shows what each of the select field type sections actually are, so I know to choose the correct one and see how that goes.

koakiin , basically each 'type' is just a different method of user input for the field. Whether it be - a short text filed - a text area - drop-down selection - radio buttons - checkboxes It just depends on the data you wish to have displayed. If you hover over the  it will display a help tip.

Is there a way to put it on a separate tab, or for me to remove/hide the irrelevant bits on the standard proboards profile application? and for me to also add a bit of a description for certain bits that may require en explanation as to what would need to filled in? Scott
