Here's a feature that I have seen on forums where I'm a member and it's invaluable. I know it as Multiquote or Multiple quotation: a button in each post, which "collects" posts before the user clicks Reply. Then in the full reply form, the collected posts are all quoted.
Saves going back and forth, after posting a reply to one person, finding where you left off so you can reply to the next one, over and over again. Especially when several posts can be replied to in one sentence!

Mand, This only works if the quotes are on the same page, but if you click the gear icon on each post to quote, then click Select Post - on each post to quote - then click the Quote button, all selected posts will be placed in the reply.  The gear icon should change its (background) color on a selected post.

Mand another method to select posts, in addition to what Lynx stated, you can also alt-click in to each post to be quoted and then click the quote button on the last one to be quoted.

Thank you all! I had searched - everywhere, I thought, but clearly not. Life-changing!  Is there any means of doing it in the android app? (or iPhone, in case any of my members use that? |

Mand, I own both an iPad and iPhone and multiquoting works the same as Lynx described above so long as they are viewing the forum via their browser. I would assume this holds true for android users as well. Not sure what you mean by 'android app' as we don't have a specific ProBoards app. Or are you referring to Tapatalk?

Just in case someone sees this and would like to know, in the Tapatalk app (android anyway) you select posts by tapping on them, then tap the Reply symbol which appears at the top. Simple! But I was long-tapping, forgot things can be simple. *facepalm* |
