Looking for a little advice from fellow roleplay staff. I run a roleplay that has concrete activity checks every single month running from the 5th to the 10th. All of our members are required to participate in the activity check and show that they've been active with their characters, things like that. If they don't show up for two consecutive activity checks, their accounts are flagged for deletion. (So that other users will be allowed the names, etc)
We have one person who absolutely never shows up for the activity checks, ever. (They don't roleplay either, I think they've made a total of 3 posts) Their accounts have been deactivated and deleted a few times now. They've been given talks on showing up for the checks and they promise to come in next time, but they never do. They often complain about being deleted.
I've never had to deal with a situation like this before, so I don't know what to do. I'm looking for advice from people who run activity checks. Have you ever had a person like this? What did you do to correct it?

I dont do active activity checks (we do passive ones -- we give members our requirements in the rules and faq and if they are inactive for that length of time they are deleted with no fuss or notice), but to me this seems like a pretty cut and dry situation.
They dont contribute, and they dont follow the activity check rules. Their complaints about getting deleted are totally baseless and if they really had a problem with it then it would become a priority for them to change their behaviour. But they havent.
My advice is just to keep doing what you are doing.
Its not something Id ban them for personally but if this has gotten annoying for you / your team then dont feel bad for banning them when theyre next deleted or right now if youre already tired of it -- this person contributed literally NOTHING so their presence or absence has literally 0 difference other than the latter has no complaining.

I don't do activity checks, but if someone's been inactive for a day I email them warning them to get back on or their account will be deleted.
Anyway, one way to keep people active is to stay active. I often delete my accounts on sites or if I don't have an account yet just straight up frick this crap I'm out if the admins are not active.
If the inactive person has 0% chance, you might need to give them a break. If you're forcing people to get on every day or their account is deleted two day later, you might need to Change a little even if it risks the whole site dying.
But if you're giving them a chance you should probably just ban their IP address.
