Igohida, a Wolf RPG

Hello,

I'm ArmyWife and I am absolutely AWFUL at doing themes. I just made a new Wolves RPG. At the moment, it is realistic, but it might turn Semi further in the forums life-span, if it is successful. So, I'd love some helping getting the theme going and one that will stick around a while, because I am not very good at themes and want something that will be pleasing to the eyes and not just another "Pop-up, New RPG" that is ignored by the populous. At the moment, I have no theme or skin, as I haven't had a chance too, so it is a blank canvas: igohidawolves.boards.net/

What are we & what do we need? We are a Wolf RPG, so it is a Role Playing Game Forum. I don't want navigation to be too hard, so I do enjoy simple lay-outs, but just don't want the normal, default look that Proboards has. I want to be able to Affiliate with other forums one day, if not as soon as possible. Having a side bar or header information area would be great, so I can put things like Important Links, Staff Members, my "Of the Month" Awards and current setting/seasons. As the forum grows, I would also like a monetary system so that I can put a store into the site for people to maybe buy special things for their characters, but at the moment, it isn't on my to-do list until we get a good group of members.

What do we want to look like? Well, since we are a Wolf RPG, having a banner with a wolf or more than one wolf would be great. It certainly doesn't have to be complicated, it can be very simple. The skin can than match the banner. As for the forum colors, I love earth colors and nothing too dark or too bright. I would rather use black or dark text so that it is easy to read. I would hate to hurt someone eyes due to too bright or two dark of a board.

Please let me know if I didn't give enough information. I am trying not to ask for too much or too little. I just want something simple but very nice and easy to use, but that allows guest to see most the information in the first page without much searching.
