The big header banner is absolutely awesome the first couple of times you see it. It feels really appropriate for your forum's subject, and I love how the images move in different directions when you scroll down. However, it seems that on every single page you have this huge banner and you have to scroll down to get to the content you want to see. I can see that getting quite tiring after a while when you just want to get to the thing you clicked on. Maybe you could implement a setting where it appears the way it does now the first time you come on the site, but from then on it just skips down to the page content whenever you go on a page.

The overall atmosphere and feel given off by the theme is awesome and really gets you into the ancient world mindset. I wouldn't like to think how long it took to make, but you certainly have a knack for getting the "feel" right.

A lot of the text is really, really small and quite hard to read. Especially the board descriptions and the "New Event" panel towards the top of the home page. Looks like the font size is about 11px, which is incredibly small. I'd try bumping it up to 12 or 13 to make it just a bit easier to read without taking up too much space. I'd also play about with the line height on some of the text because the lines are packed quite tightly together which makes it more difficult to stick with the line you were reading. I do understand that a forum like this has tons of text and space can be an issue though. I am also very blind.

I'd like to try and find a code that does the "auto scroll to this point" when you load up a page - I think that would be useful
